The Cheshire Travel Vet has been providing stress-free, low-cost Animal Health Certificates since 2023. The team is lead by small animal vet Gabe Wertheimer BVSc MRCVS.
Gabe has over 19 years of experience in clinical practice and works in a busy small animal clinic. He has held Official Veterinarian (OV) status throughout that time, which enables him to carry out the specific work demanded by UK regulations, including producing Animal Health Certificates. Since Brexit, he has gained huge experience in providing certificates for travel across the EU. He has a wide knowledge of complex travel requirements and is always happy to provide free guidance and advice ahead of your booking.

Certification at a vet practice can take over an hour - time your pet has to spend in a busy clinical environment, after a journey to get there. The Cheshire Travel Vet prevents this, by providing a simple, cost-effective certification service, which is bespoke to you and done from the comfort of your own home.

The majority of home visits are available during the evening and weekends.

Daytime visits during the week are possible but availability varies and may be subject to change.
